Acme Food & Beverage Co. was started in February of 1998 by Chef/Owner Kevin Callaghan just weeks after the birth of his daughter, Mary Louise. Over the years Acme has grown to be a staple of Fine Dining with a casual atmosphere in Downtown Carrboro.

From it’s inception, Acme has had many different accomplished Chefs pass through its halls before Kevin took over as head chef in 2003.

Acme has grown with the beloved neighborhood of Carrboro, and has also been nationally recognized as “(one of) the top ten tastes in the south” by Southern Living.
